Brendan Donleavy (b. 1979) is a painter living and working in Brooklyn, NY. A predominantly self-taught painter, Donleavy’s work has appeared in and around New York art galleries and fairs. He can frequently be seen eating ice cream or pizza on various streets in Brooklyn. 

In 2017 he retired his muted Dutch palette in favor of brighter and more opaque colors that better reflect the joy of being a father. Much of the new work he produces are surreal and fantastical landscapes to be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
